Rustic Tented Fall Maine Wedding

Lexi and Archie’s fall Maine wedding was absolutely magical! They hosted their family and friends at one of my favorite venues, Caswell Farm and Wedding Barn, located in Gray, Maine. This picturesque property was perfect for an outdoor ceremony in the garden and a tented reception. And it was just featured in Country Living Magazine!

When I first met Lexi and Archie, I was struck by how perfect they were for each other. They are incredibly kind and great to work with! I absolutely loved that they wanted to use local, in-season flowers as much as possible – so that is exactly what we did!

Boho Style Wedding Florals

Lexi selected a color scheme with neutral fall colors including gold, copper, dusty pink, and champagne. All of the colors looked perfect against the natural landscape of the property and the dark forest green bridesmaid dresses. We designed Lexi’s garden-style bridal bouquet with dahlias, eucalyptus, rudbeckia, sunflowers, amaranth, and grasses which all came from farms in Maine. We only ordered a few special things like the toffee roses and Lexi had me tuck in a piece of ivy from a grandmother’s plant. Generations of women in her family have carried ivy from that same plant – how special! We used this design throughout all of the bridesmaid bouquets and decor as well. I was so happy with how it came together!

Lexie and Archie got ready separately on the property, along with their wedding parties, before doing a first look and portraits. The outdoor ceremony space in the flower garden is so stunning! We added a large arrangement to the arbor, as well as mason jars along the aisle to bring in the fall colors.

Fall Maine Wedding Reception Decor

Lexi and Archie couldn’t have asked for a more perfect fall day for their outdoor tented reception. The tent was set up alongside the beautiful gardens and set up with long farmhouse tables for their guests. We continued with the neutral fall color scheme with a variety of flowers on the welcome sign, table decor, and wedding cake.

Lexi had the fantastic idea to do a flower bar for her guests! They provided jars for everyone to collect flowers from the tables to take home with them so nothing went to waste and guests could continue to enjoy them after the wedding. This was such a great idea for a more sustainable wedding! Congratulations to this wonderful couple!
