Seguin Tree Dwellings Intimate Wedding

Stephanie and Rahul planned one of the most unique and intimate Maine weddings I have seen to date! Seguin Tree Dwellings and Gathering Space is the perfect blend of modern luxuries and natural surroundings nestled in the coastal woodlands of Georgetown.

This unique property with 21 acres allows you to rent the treehouses individually, or all four of them together, along with their Gathering Space. Some of the treehouses have separate kitchens, and some have their own wood-fired hot tubs overlooking the marsh. Stepanie and Rahul fell in love with this venue and knew this is where they wanted to be married.

An Intimate Treehouse Maine Wedding

Stephanie and Rahul knew they wanted their wedding day to be small, intentional, and filled with love. Stephanie explained to me that she wanted the floral design to enhance the existing natural landscape of Seguin. I couldn’t wait to create this! For her bouquet and the bridesmaids’ bouquets, we used gorgeous muted tones of pink, peach, mauve, and blue flowers and greenery. It was certainly the first time I had ever delivered bouquets walking across a rope bridge!

Stephanie and Rahul got ready separately in their treehouses with their wedding parties. They then met for their first look at the bridge overlooking the marsh. It was so beautiful and peaceful! Their guest met for their ceremony on the beach at Reid State Park. We created a simple arbor with greenery and light pink florals right on the sand overlooking the ocean.

Floral Design for Seguin Tree Dwellings

After the ceremony and taking some glowy sunset photos on the beach, they headed to the Gathering Space for their small reception. Stephanie loved the existing tree branch sculpture and wanted to enhance it to really make the space special. We decorated it with vining greenery and suspended floating flower stems above their heads. It was the perfect dreamy addition to the space!

Instead of many traditional table arrangements, we used a greenery runner with single rose blooms scattered down the length of the table and added additional flowers to their cake and welcome sign to add a subtle, but special touch. Their guests were then seated together at one long table for dinner and enjoyed their time celebrating the newlyweds.
