Scotland Fields Summer Wedding Floral Design

Dana and Nate’s summer wedding at Scotland Fields was absolutely stunning! This new barn venue in southern Maine overlooks the salt marshes of York River with 26 acres of fields. Plus it has a sunken stone patio with a fire pit for cocktail hour, a two-story barn, and two houses for the couple to use throughout the day!

To get ready for the big day, the ladies got ready in The Bungalow and the guys got ready in The Farmhouse located right on the property! Every detail of this wedding was designed so perfectly to match the sage green color scheme. I am always honored when I get to work alongside Olive & Co Events. They are always so professional and on top of the vision and design for the day.

Dana wanted her wedding to be traditional, clean, and crisp. We brought this to life by creating all-white bouquets with garden roses, ranunculus, lisianthus, and eucalyptus. The bridesmaid dresses were a perfect color match to the bouquets. The maid of honor’s dress was so unique and had touches of a light green floral pattern. For all of our weddings, we make sure to have some extra blooms for the photographer to capture detail shots. I love how the flay lay shots turned out with the invitation suite.

Scotland Fields Summer Wedding

This venue is perfect for a coastal Maine summer wedding! Dana and Nate chose to have a first look before their ceremony and shared a private moment together where they read their vows to each other privately. The outdoor ceremony location out in the fields is absolutely stunning. Dana and Nate had a traditional Jewish Ceremony with the signing of the Ketubah, wrapping the couple in the tallit, and were married under the Chuppah.

The outdoor mobile bar was a huge hit! The stationary and handwritten seating charts were lovely and a nice touch for their guests as they arrived at the reception. We created white rose centerpieces and greenery on the long farmhouse tables. Dana and Nate of course had to include the Horah dance at the reception! I love that they chose to make donations to the National Ovarian Cancer Coalition and Greater Boston YMCA instead of favors – such a nice touch!
