Majorie and Chris’s fall wedding at Cunningham Farm in New Gloucester, Maine was stunning! This is an incredible Maine venue with so much to offer. It is perfect for couples looking for a rustic, yet elegant barn venue!

Marjorie and Chris had the help of Olive and Co Events to help them bring their rustic, fall wedding vision to life. We worked together to select local flowers with a rust, copper, and bronze color palette with texture and dried elements. Despite the rain on and off throughout the day, Marjorie and Chris were able to do their first look and ceremony outside. Cassie, the owner of Olive and Co Events, can be seen running through the rain to deliver Marjorie’s bouquet to her! Barn Wedding Venue In Maine

Cunningham Farm has so much to offer! There are a few different ceremony sites to choose from, a large reception barn with an updated kitchen and bathrooms, and a smaller barn for cocktails and dancing. Additionally, there is even a smaller barn available that is great for the groomsmen to hang out in, or use for whatever else you may need! The inside of the farmhouse was recently renovated to become a beautiful space for getting ready.

The farm used to be a tree farm, so there is a cool wooded grove with rows of large evergreen trees and the main area of the property has beautiful landscaping with large old apple trees. One of my favorite features is the large white arch and stone slabs for the beautiful ceremony spot overlooking the pond on the property. We created a large floral arrangement for one side of the arch to add a pop of color. Marjorie and Chris loved this space so much that they waited between rain showers to get married here. 

It was imperative for Marjorie and Chris to blend their families in a special way and involve their kids as much as possible! We designed bouquets and boutonnieres for each of the kids in the wedding party.

Fall Floral Design for Cunningham Farm Wedding

We carried the rich fall colors into the centerpieces and decor inside the barn. We used a huge variety of wildflowers in each piece! I love the natural and organic feel of each design and the variety of colors and textures. We also created individual place settings with burgundy leaves and added florals to their white two-tier cake as well as small and large pieces for their greeting and cocktail tables.
