Garden Gate at Haley Farm Fall Wedding

Nikki and Brendan’s fall Maine wedding at Garden Gate at Haley Farm was simply stunning! After rescheduling and postponing because of Covid, their day finally happened in October of 2022. When you meet Nikki and Brendan, it is immediately apparent that they are so good together. They both did not stop smiling from ear to ear the entire day!

Garden Gate at Haley Farm is a rustic venue located in Sebago, Maine, just minutes from the lake. The charming New England Barn is surrounded by a gorgeous flower farm and 70 wooded acres with an outdoor ceremony space. Nikki and Brendan got ready inside the property’s farmhouse, along with their wedding parties.

They selected a fun and funky color scheme with lots of textures and rich colors including burgundy, copper, and bronze. I absolutely loved Brendan’s boutonniere and Nikki’s bouquet. We used lots of local, in-season flowers that were perfect for fall. The gray suits on the men and the satin and velvet bridesmaid dresses tied everything together perfectly.

Behind the barn is the ceremony space with benches and a birch arbor. It is a truly beautiful spot surrounded by a wooded forest. I absolutely loved designing an arrangement for this arch! Nikki brought a dark orange fabric that made everything pop against the turning leaves. It was important to Nikki and Brendan to have their dogs included in their day. They hired For The Love Of Paws to care for them throughout the day and be able to include them in the ceremony and photos. We had to have special greenery collars to honor them as well!

The restored barn at Garden Gate at Haley Farm was decorated perfectly for their reception. We did loose greens with flowers and candles on each of the farm tables as well as some special pieces for the sweetheart table. Since it was fall, it was only fitting they add some pumpkins to the table too!

After their wedding, Nikki chose to preserve her bouquet with Jess of Smiles and Sprinkles. She had the flowers pressed and framed. I love her work and how this special keepsake turned out! Congratulations to the happy couple!
