Bright Color Palette for Woolwich, ME Wedding Florals

From the moment I spoke with Allison and Matthew, I could tell how excited they were about their Woolwich, ME wedding floral arrangements! They told me all about their plans for a fall wedding at Matthew’s parent’s home and that it would be laid-back, homey, and personal. I couldn’t wait to get started designing and sourcing for their arrangements!

Private Home Outdoor Maine Wedding

Allison picked a gorgeous color palette with fall jewel tones – one of my favorites to date! I loved all of the pinks and purples against the autumn leaves. She really loves sunflowers, so we got some plum-colored sunflowers to mix into her arrangements. We also used Blueberry roses, purple anemones, burgundy ranunculus, and blackberry scabiosa. In Allison’s bouquet, we added some special flowers like pink lilies and Darcey garden roses.

Allison complemented the flowers perfectly with the bridesmaids’ plum dresses. I loved Matthew’s blue tweed suit with a brown tweed vest and tie! It was so unique and perfect for a fall Maine wedding!

Woolwich, ME Wedding Florals

On the day of their wedding, the weather was perfect for an outdoor ceremony and tented reception. We loved working with Wedding Angel Events to coordinate everything for the day! We added arrangements to the homemade arbor and lined the aisle with small bouquets to add pops of color. After the ceremony, these were moved to the reception space. We love when we can reuse the flowers for tables and decor!
